Waking up in the country (compared to our apartment in the city) never ceases to amaze me. This morning, the fog was thick on the ground and in the trees. I knew it had been a cold night, but I didn’t know everything was frozen over until coming downstairs for breakfast. Out on the back deck were these delicate and lovely frozen spiderwebs. After snapping some photos (for some reason barefoot), I quickly pulled on wool socks and poured some hot coffee. Through the kitchen window, our family continued to watch the fog , and admire those frozen spiderwebs.
